Aluminum is not combustible materials
Another big plus point is the fact that unlike glass fibers, aluminum is not a flammable material and not burned. Although processed fiberglass boat with fire-inhibiting resin, in the case of the burning ship will burn easily, but will not be aluminum boat. Aluminum does not corrode the metal, which makes all the more suitable for fishing expeditions in salt water.

It's easy to have a custom built aluminum bat but not one built of glass fibers in a mold and can not be modified in any way without spending much money. For aluminum boat, to change the design means that the cutting and making changes and then weld together in a new design. With engineering design now computer designed, it was useful to have an aluminum boat where you can change the design and have a habit of building a boat.

By Abhishek AgarwalSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-15815009942636108832009-10-21T15:00:00.000-07:002009-10-21T15:03:15.454-07:00Bass Fishing Tips - Is There a Best Bait For Bass?Have you ever wondered if there is a "best bait" when it comes to bass fishing? In this article I'm going to list some of the more popular and effective baits used for bass fishing. These baits all catch bass and which one is best depends largely on personal preference.

I will also provide some bass fishing tips that will help you be more effective when using these bass baits. I know, I know, bass fishing tips are much like bellybuttons. Every body seems to have one, but with any luck some of the bass fishing tips in this article will work for you.

What do you say we get down to business and list these effective bass baits?

1. Jitterbugs - One of the most popular top water bass lures of all time is the Jitterbug. The manufacturer of these wonderful top water bass baits also makes a jointed variety, which is also quite effective. The key to fishing a jitterbug, whether jointed or traditional, is to fish it very slowly in water that's as flat as possible. When retrieving these bass baits you want to hear the melodic "gurgle" that these baits emit from the lip on the front.

2. Live Bait - Live bait has always been considered a great bass fishing bait. Large shiners or shad are quite effective when fished under a float. I personally live to use slip bobbers as a float when fishing live shiners or shad for bass. Large baitfish (the size of your hand or a bit smaller) should be hooked right below the dorsal fin with a circle hook. Smaller baitfish should be hooked through the lips using a set of gang hooks. Both of these methods seem to be the best at keeping your live bait alive.

3. Synthetic Worms/Grubs - Plastic worms have long been known as a great bait for bass, but the introduction of synthetic worms and grubs has changed the game a bit. Synthetic worms such as Berkley's Gulp and Power Worms are extremely effective bass baits. This might be one of the best bass fishing tips that you get today. These bass baits have been impregnated with fish attracting scents, so ditch your soft plastics for their synthetic cousins.

4. Realistic Shad Imitations - One of a basses favorite meals is a shad, so realistic shad imitations are a very effective bass bait. The key when using shad imitations is that they are as realistic as possible. You want your lure to look as much like a real shad as possible. I realize that this sounds obvious, but it nonetheless needs to be mentioned. All too often bass anglers try to save a few bucks on their bass lures and compromise realism without realizing it. Don't skimp, especially when it comes to shad imitations.

These bass baits are among the most effective that you will find. Are they the only options? Certainly not, but one of them might just become your best bass bait and catch you a trophy.

By Trevor KuglerSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-67976121827595162092009-10-10T10:50:00.000-07:002009-10-10T10:53:28.328-07:00Fishing Tips For Trout - Trout Fishing Tips For Any AnglerFishing for trout isn't a difficult task, especially when you're dealing with small inexperienced fish. If you're new to fishing, you might not really know exactly what to look for, and why.

Here are 10 tips to help you choose the right fly fishing reels.

1. Fishing reels are a fundamental part of fishing, and arguably as important as the rod itself. Getting the reel wrong could mean that you don't catch as many fish, or that you don't enjoy fishing as much.

2. If you fish for trout, then you might be one of the anglers that strip the line manually, rather than using the handle. If you do, you'll want to make sure that you can do this with your new reel. If you don't already, perhaps you will do once you get your new reel.

3. Those who fish for salmon will often use the handle of their fishing reel, so if you've fished for trout before and are now fishing for salmon, you might find the action of the reel different to what you're used to.

4. If you're fishing for fish for both salmon and trout, then perhaps you'll come to the conclusion that you need two rods and reels. This will mean that you don't have to change the reels when you're fishing for the other sort of fish.

5. A lightweight reel is favoured by a lot of anglers. However, some anglers don't like the fishing reel to be too light as it can often lose the balance of the rod, and make it harder to use. You'll need to check for yourself and make sure it's comfortable for you.

6. If you get a new reel, will you also need new lines to go with it, or will you choose a fishing reel that fits the lines you've already got?

7. By marking the weight of the line on the reel, you'll always know which reel to use in all circumstances. Perhaps you might only have a couple of reels, but once you start to take your fishing more seriously, and need different rods and reels, you'll be glad to be able to pick up what you need quickly.

8. A fishing reel bag will help to keep your reels in proper working order, and mean that they don't require as much maintenance as they'll be properly looked after. Storing them in a dedicated bag will also make sure that they don't get damaged whilst in your fishing bag.

9. You might already have a brand or model of fishing reel in mind, based on your previous experience, a review, or a friend's recommendation. You shouldn't discount other brands or models as they might be more suitable for your needs and budget.

10. If you're serious about fishing, and most anglers are, then the cost of the reel should not be as important as it's function and durability. You won't want to keep having to buy new fishing reels, nor will you want to spend a fortune on the wrong reels.

Now you know more about fishing reels, and how to choose the right one, isn't it time that you made sure that your fishing tackle is up to the job?

By M James

Satria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-90843987826722817122009-09-30T03:02:00.000-07:002009-09-30T03:04:38.322-07:00Night Fishing For Catfish - Tips on How to Select the Right Catfish Baits at Night! If you have not been catfishing at night you are missing out on some intense fishing action! It is not uncommon for me to come home with 20 to 30 2lb plus ready to fillet catfish. If you love to eat catfish you know this size of fish makes a mighty tasty meal. Catfish will eat just about anything at night but I found out through experience that some baits work better then others and I would like to share those with you in my article today.

1.0 My #1 favorite fishing at night catfish bait is the horned chub.

There are many different types of chubs that are local throughout the united states that work well for catching catfish. A chub is any one of a number of ray-finned fishes in several families. For my article today I will concentrate on chubs that are commonly found in small creeks and rivers. I am referring to the creak chub which is of the family of Cyprinidae (Minnows and Carps). The creek chub is also commonly called chub or horned chub. Creek chubs have a thick body and a broad head. Their mouth is large with the back end of the upper jaw extending beyond the front edge of the eye. They also have a small flap-like barbel that is often hidden in the grove between the upper jaw and the rest of the head. The best size chubs to use for bait are the ones that are 3 to 6 inches in length. The best way to fish with creek chubs is to cut them in 2 to three inch strips, and use a 1/0 bait holder hook. You can use the fish guts after you cut them up for a very good active chum, so do not throw the guts away.

2.0 My number two favorite night fishing catfish bait is the bluegill.

Make sure you check with your states department of natural resources to make sure it is legal to fish with the bluegill. The bluegill is also common referred to as the sunfish, and bream. The blue gill is actually classified in the family of sunfish. If you want to catch larger catfish, I have found that the bluegill are the best bait to use. I always set up one heavy duty catfish rig with a blue gill for bait. The best size gills to use are small 3 to 4" in size. I will push a 4/0 bait holder hook just under the dorsal fin , so the blue can swim freely. I Use a slip bobber set so the blue gill can roam just off the bottom. You won't catch a lot of catfish with blue gill but the ones you do catch will be of the large variety. I have caught many 10lb plus catfish using gills. You can also use them to catch smaller catfish cut up in strips just like fishing for chubs.

3.0 My #3 favorite catfish live bait is the gizzard shad.

When I use shad as a night fishing bait my preference is the threadfin shad because they are small and you can use the entire fish with a 1/0 bait holder hook. The threadfin shad is normally only 3 to 6 inches in length and a perfect size for fishing for catfish. The other shad I will use is called the gizzard shad. They are much larger in size normally 6 to 15inches in length and must be cut into to strips from 3 to 6 inches in length. For larger catfish you can use much larger strips to fit on a 4/0 bait holder hook. You can catch your own shad with a minnow seine, or you can purchase them from a local bait store.

Well folks that concludes my article on night fishing for catfish, catfish live bait, catfish baits, fishing with gizzard shad for catfish, catch catfish with bluegills, catch catfish with chubs, catch catfish with horned chubs, catch catfish with creek chubs. Stay tuned for more articles on the subject of night fishing. Trout have very sensitive noses and if a seventeen plus inch trout detects any unnatural scents it is much less apt to bite your offering. This is why making sure that your hands are free of unnatural scents (which will transfer to your bait) is so important. If you want tp catch more and bigger trout, rub your hands in a handful of dirt before baiting up to remove any unnatural scents that might be present.
2. Use Light Line - Many trout fishermen (especially beginners) use fishing line that's entirely too heavy. I personally use four pound test for all of my trout fishing. Six pound test is serviceable as well, but any line heavier than this is probably overkill in most trout fishing scenarios. The bottom line when it comes to fishing for trout is this; the lighter your line the more bites your will get, it's as simple as that.
3. Use Effective Hooks - When it comes to trout fishing your hooks are extremely important, both their sharpness and their size. First off your always want to use hooks that are as sharp as possible. This means changing your hooks often or sharpening them often. Many fish are "missed" because of dull hooks. Secondly, many trout fishermen use hooks that are entirely too large. A good remedy to hooks that are too large is a set of gang-hooks. Gang hooks are simply a pair of small hooks tied in tandem, which enables a much more natural bait presentation.

These simple fishing tips for trout are highly effective. I realize how simple they are, but their simplicity, I think, is what makes them so effective. Many times it's the simplest things in life that make the biggest difference.

By Trevor KuglerSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-3162248853261754292009-08-25T06:00:00.000-07:002009-08-25T06:02:37.419-07:00Best Ways to Catch Trout - Rainbow Trout Fishing TipsIn this article I'm going to outline a few simple, yet extremely effective rainbow trout fishing tips. Are these the best ways to catch trout? This of course would be up for debate, but I can tell you from experience that for the past twenty plus years of fishing for and catching trout these tips have been the best ways to catch trout for me, and I have to assume they will be the same for you.

When we're talking about rainbow trout it's important to understand a little bit about them. These fish are voracious predators and are very often at the top of the food chain for the river system that they reside. This means that rainbow trout usually aren't that difficult to catch, especially when the proper techniques and equipment is employed. Larger rainbow trout (like most fish species) don't like to expend a ton of energy catching food, so they will find a good ambush spot and tend to sit there and wait for food to come to them. Locating and fishing these area's thoroughly is of the utmost importance when large rainbow trout are the target.

Below I will list the two best ways to catch trout that I've experienced during my twenty five years of trout fishing experience. Each of these techniques is effective and has their time and place when fishing for rainbow trout.

1. The Rooster Tail Technique - Although various spinners are effective for catching trout my favorite has always been the Rooster Tail. As far as sizes go, you're going to want to have a variety available. Having a couple of rooster tails in sizes ranging from 3/16 to 1/2 ounce is always a good idea. I've always had more success with darker colors such as black, brown, and green. The key is to have a few choices available so that you can experiment to find the most effective. Attach your rooster tail to your line using a piece of line attached to a small barrel swivel. 12 to 18 inches will normally suffice. I like to cast roster tails into pools and deep water runs where it looks like there are good ambush areas such as boulders or fallen trees. It's always a good idea to vary the speed of your retrieve and even 'snap' your rod tip as you reel in. Many times this will trigger a strike.
2. The Live Worm Technique - Of all the rainbow trout fishing tips that you'll ever get this one may be the best. Live worms are an extremely effective trout bait, especially when rigged on a set of gang-hooks. These hooks allow for the most natural and realistic presentation of a live worm that's possible. Attach the gang hooks to your line by again using a small barrel swivel. Weight is added by using split shot sinkers above the swivel. The same areas of the river will be fished as mentioned above. With this technique you fish much more slowly ant thoroughly though. The goal is to bounce your offering along the bottom as it flows naturally with the current of the water that you're fishing. Many times trout find this technique all but irresistible.

When it comes to rainbow trout fishing tips these are two of the best ways to catch our multi colored friends that you will ever come across. Give one poor both of them a shot for yourself and find out exactly what I'm talking about.

By Trevor KuglerSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-40527479019881499862009-08-24T05:05:00.000-07:002009-08-24T05:08:31.337-07:00Tips For Fishing - Four Mistakes to AvoidIf you want to be a great fisherman, often it is about knowing what you shouldn't do, rather than know the things you should do. There are many great anglers out there that make common mistakes when fishing that end up costing them the fish.

It is important that you are aware of common mistakes that you should avoid. With the right tips for fishing on what to avoid, you can make sure that you regularly get a nice catch when you go out fishing and have a great time out there too

Mistake #1 - Using the Same Spot Over and Over
One of the main mistakes that people make when they go out fishing is using the same spot over and over again. It is easy to want to go back to a spot where you have had great luck in the past. However, even though you have great luck in one spot once, it doesn't always mean that you are going to continue to have great luck there. Sometimes you will find that you don't get any bites in the area. A great fishing tip is to avoid spending all your time there if you aren't getting any hits. Move on instead of wasting your time just because you had great luck at the spot in the past.

Mistake #2 - Not Concentrating
While fishing is definitely relaxing, it can be tough sometimes as well. It definitely takes quite a bit of patience. The thing is, many people make the mistake of not concentrating when they go out fishing, and then they wonder why they walk away empty handed at the end of the day. You need to focus on your fishing if you want to make a nice catch. You have to be on top of your game, focusing on everything when you are fishing. Don't just cast out and then forget about your line. Watch your line, focus on the way it feels, and be aware of what is going on around you in the water. Then you are more likely to make a good catch.

Mistake #3 - Not Changing the Bait
A useful bait fishing tip is to avoid not changing the bait - many anglers make this mistake. Most fisherman have a bait that makes them feel confident. It is the bait that they catch the most fish on. The problem is that they tend to rely on that bait in the future. They'll keep using it again and again, even if they are not getting more bites. Don't keep using that bait if you are not getting hits on it. Try using a few times. If you don't get any hits, then you need to start using something else out if you want to make the catch.

Mistake #4 - Using the Wrong Gear for the Fish You Want
Using the wrong gear for the fish you want to catch is also a huge mistake that many people make. You can't expect to do some great bass fishing if you are using gear that is designed for catching catfish or gear for catching trout. Make sure that when you go out fishing you use gear for the fish that you want to catch on that particular fishing trip.

By Dan LokerSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-15805035491294044352009-08-23T09:10:00.000-07:002009-08-23T09:12:06.382-07:00How to Catch Trout - River Fishing TipsWhen it comes to fishing for trout there is probably no better place to catch these fish than the flowing waters of a river. This article will provide you with some very effective river fishing tips that have been learned through more than twenty years of real world river fishing experience. If you want to know how to catch trout in rivers this article is for you.

The type of river that I'm referring to in this article is the type that you can wade. In many cases this type of river is considered a "small" river. Some anglers like to float these types of rivers and stop along their trip to wade and fish the areas of the river that "look good". However you choose to fish your trout river, these river fishing tips will make you a much more effective trout angler.

My mentor taught me many years ago that if you want to know how to catch trout when fishing in a river live bait needs to be employed. I realize that when many people think of trout fishing they think of fly fishing, but fishing with feathers is not what this article is about. This article is about fishing in rivers with bait. My mentors' favorite live bait for trout was live worms and worms are my favorite trout bait to this day. When a live worm is allowed to flow naturally with the current of a river, rolling along the bottom as it drifts, the results can be nothing less than amazing.

The best way to rig a live worm to fish in this manner is a set of gang hooks. Gang hooks are just a pair of small hooks tied in tandem, which allow for a completely natural and realistic presentation. These hooks are attached to your line by using a small barrel swivel to prevent your line from twisting, and the rig is weighted by using split shot sinkers. The goal with this rig (as I said before) is for your worm to flow naturally with the current, bouncing along the bottom as it flows. If you want to know how to catch trout while river fishing, it begins with the use of gang hooks.

Another extremely effective river fishing tip is to have an effective way to carry your live worms while fishing. Most anglers just throw the Styrofoam container that worms are purchased in into their fishing vest and call it good. While this works, it's not even close to the most effective option for carrying live worms while fishing. When wading in a river you want to have your worms at your fingertips at all time for baiting up and re-baiting. A bait bag is the best way to accomplish this task.

These simple river fishing tips will make you a much more efficient and effective trout angler. These tips have been helping me catch trout for more than twenty years and I know they will do the same for you. The key is to spend as much time as possible on the water putting the tips into action. The more you practice the technique the more proficient and successful you will become.

Trevor Kugler is co-founder of JRWfishing.com and an avid angler. Take advantage of these, gain big competitive advantages over your fellow anglers and catch more fish with these vital ground bait and free baiting tips now!

When considering something a little bit different this summer to get you the edge, there are countless products and methods to select or even adapt in your own way! Many are using ground baits more and more these days but ground baiting used to be regarded as just a small fish method. Right back from the early Eighties when it became a secret edge to fish over boilie crumb and use crumble boilies in PVA tube and on strings and so on, fishing smaller baits as free baits has proven very effective for bigger fish too.

Now of course you have many products that do not just sit inactive on the bottom, but some rise upwards to and also hang in different water layers so attracting fish even more effectively. You can replicate this effect by making your own unique ground baits by selecting those bait items that are less dense and making very active ground baits is a great money-saving edge.

Some of the more interesting products this year as you might expect by now are different pellets. As bait companies get more and more competitive for market share, so they are very thankfully investigating more unusual avenues of bait substance exploitation, realising that natural feeding triggers are the key to long-term success and anglers today know this!

But beware; often you can be fooled into buying pellets that have only been impregnated with natural extracts like those of bloodworm for instance. What you really need to verify is that the pellets you use actually are composed of the nutritional extracts within the pellets formulation itself. (This information should be available from trustworthy bait suppliers plus the age of pellets supplied; this is something else of vital importance in your potential success!) Fresh nutritional bait catches more fish because carp are able to benefit far more from such products nutritionally, they offer superior nutritional stimulation in water and factors like palatability are not compromised by off-flavours, oxidised oils and so on!

One of the very best quality nutrition pellets I have ever used is the Milkimin pellets from Ccmoore. It is reasonable to state that this company due to its huge buying power is one of the very few able to offer a true milk protein based pellet. These pellets are totally unique and are composed of very high quality milk protein ingredients. Many of these ingredients are highly buoyant and this fact provides them with an extraordinary edge. When immersed in water, they hang at differing levels in the water due to their relatively neutral buoyancy. This effect has fooled many big carp which may not have been caught when more standard type baits have been used such as mixed halibut pellets that fish are so keen and often extremely wary of now!

Having made buoyant homemade pellet baits myself with great success I can tell you it is possible to make your own completely unique hovering pellets using ingredients of your own choosing - and this is a fantastic edge over your fellow anglers! (In fact, you can even create your own personalised new homemade pellets using Milkimin pellets as part of the formula too!)

Among the other Ccmoore pellets I would definitely recommend are the boosted mussel pellets, Belachan pellets, Amino Green 365 pellets, Cantax pellets and the totally unique high digest HDE pellets. These can be used in all their different sizes mixed. The smallest sizes will dissolve within 3 hours so you can bait up without any fear of over-feeding. I make my own homemade pastes using these mixed plus other feeding trigger-packed ingredients, additives and liquids. Willis Worms supply a unique cheap alternative to Robin Red which I recommend for all kinds of applications including in PVA bag mixes, method mixes, in boilie and pellet making and creating unique bait soaks etc.

For those fashion following anglers wanting something new Sticky Baits offer baits I think are a great combination in the shape of snail, shrimp and spirulina pellets. They also offer crab pellets and squid pellets. CW Baits offer an incredible range of carp and premium quality koi pellets of many specialist formulations for various conditions and times of the year. Their betaine and spirulina pellets are simply awesome as are their special spicy crab!

Many products are able to be used with PVA products and can be poured directly into PVA bags and over PVA nets and stockings to boost attraction. Many of these are not oils and will not melt PVA due to their unique density often purposely designed into certain PVA friendly products. More standard examples of quick dissolving pellets for PVA product use include hemp pellets and corn steep liquor (CSL) pellets.

The days when you were just stuck with trout, salmon, marine halibut pellets that are all designed for fish with higher metabolic rates for carp rendering them unsuitable to be used in comparison to koi and other specifically designed carp pellets are over. Also the reliance of many carp anglers just on very standard and over-used products such as halibut pellet oil and hemp oil and the like are long gone. But thinking anglers were never limited to these things anyway and have found much cheaper ways to bait up just as effectively! I have seen many fishermen do this without thinking at all of what they are doing. The most common mistake is they do it with not enough variation. They keep slamming the pike lures to the same spots over and over again and with the same retrieving speed. This is a very ineffective way to catch fish and will give you little or no fish to land.

These fishermen quickly gives up and complains about bad musky lures or no fish in the waters, while this often is completely wrong. What these guys should have done is fishing with much more variation and patience with the pike or musky.

Firstly, find a pike lure in your box that you know will trigger a bite in most cases and stick with it for a long time. Secondly, take a quick overview of the entire fishing spot and determine depths, rocks and other things to consider. Start throwing the lure just outside weed lines, logs or other object. Retrieve with moderate speed and with your rod tip pointing high to make sure the lure will go high in the water.

If a pike is there and is hungry enough it will grab the lure, if not it will maybe sniff on it or turn just before it take it. Either way, you will notice it visually or feel it. Now we know there is a pike on the spot, but we will not do the huge mistake and throw the lure right back because this mostly will scare the pike back permanently to its hiding place.

We have to leave it, let it go back and "digest" the whole situation. It was not hungry enough or missed the target, but it needs a rest. The pike need a few minutes to settle down. In this period it becomes more focused and the instincts are sharpened. If we now had slammed the lure back after a few seconds the pike would surely had been scared, skeptical or both and certainly not taken the lure.

What we will do next is throwing the lure to another place to check out if there is a fish there. Keep the lure high and make a "map" of the spot (depths etc.). If nothing happens when you have been everywhere, go back to the spot where the pike responded and throw the lure a bit farther away, retrieving a bit slower and with the rod tip lower too. Now the bait will pass by the pike with slightly different movement, deeper and with lower speed. In this article I will provide you with 3 tips that every trout angler needs to use. I learned these tips from a man that was considered a trout fishing master many years ago in central Pennsylvania, and know I will pass them along to you.

Some of these trout fishing tips may seem over simplistic, but that doesn't make them any less effective. As a matter of fact, my mentor believed in simplicity not only in life, but also in fishing. The truth is that many times the simpler a fishing technique is, the more effective it is. The bottom line is that when fishing for trout, any or all of these tips will make you a much more effective and successful trout angler.

* Use Mother Nature To Your Advantage - Trout (as well as all fish) are affected my the forces of Mother Nature, particularly the weather & moon. The truth is that the weather & moon have as much to do with you catching trout as the type of trout bait that you choose to use. Knowing when these two forces of Mother Nature are in your favor, such as during a new moon, will increase your bite rates dramatically. Being on the water when the trout are the most active is a great advantage, and the weather & moon are the keys to being on the water at the best times.

* Be As Efficient As Possible - Being efficient when trout fishing is very important, and here's why. The more efficient you are the less time you'll be spending performing mundane tasks like baiting up and re-tying. This time can then be spent with your line in the water where the trout are. Being efficient will make you a much more effective trout angler. Items such as an effective worm carrier, retractors for carrying lightweight gear, and a fishing vest are invaluable to the serious trout fisherman and make anyone a much more efficient angler.

* Present Bait Effectively - When fishing for trout it is imperative that your bait is presented effectively. Some people think just threading a worm onto a hook or covering a size six hook with Powerbait is an effective way to fish for trout. Nothing could be farther from the truth, especially when you are dealing with larger, more experienced trout. The best way to present bait effectively is by using gang hooks. Gang hooks are the best way to present bait effectively.

The next time you go out fishing for trout remember these effective tips. They will make you a much better angler. Remember: there's no substitute for spending time on the water practicing your craft, so I suggest you get out there and put these tips into practice.

Trevor Kugler is co-founder of JRWfishing.com and an avid angler. Since it is one of the more harder and serious types of fishing there are a few rules that are generally followed. These rules are just for common courtesy because karma is a real thing. If you be nice and help others, you will in return create positive vibes around you.

The first thing that you need to know is that fly fishing is usually done in a quite environment. In many other styles of fishing noise is not an issue. The reason that many people like to fish in a quiet environment is because fly fishing is done in shallow streams and rivers. If you are too loud you can actually spook the fish.
It is also nice to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of a day on the lake. If your environment is really noisy it's hard to stay calm and really relax. If your fishing along this is not that much of a big deal but if there are other fishermen around, be kind and stay reasonably quite.

If you ever happen to see anyone hurt or in need of help, give them a helping hand. This is important because accidents happen a lot during fish trips and some of them can be very serious. You need to help anyone else you see in trouble.

If you got hurt and the only way you could get out was with someone's help, you would want their help as well. Keep this in mind the next time you see someone in trouble.

There have been a few times that I got saved by fellow fishermen. Sometimes it only takes a minute and can greatly benefit everyone to create positive environments around you when you are fishing. Try to be nice and reasonable with people and this way everyone can have a nice and relaxing trip.

By Rob GanionSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-54761304041154661422009-07-23T06:35:00.000-07:002009-07-23T06:39:32.097-07:00Big Bass Fishing TipsEveryone wants to discover the secret to catching the big bass. There are many elements that go into finding big bass. This article will look at a few bass fishing tips you might use to land the big one next time.

One of the first and most important things that you need understand when you're trying to catch bigger fish is that you're going to have to slow down. Larger bass move slower than the smaller bass. By slowing your presentation down to leave the bait in the strike zone longer - giving them a chance to look it over and possibly take your bait.

One of the best big bass fishing lures is a green pumpkin or black and blue Jig. I prefer to use a jig with a weed guard on it, which is a stiff set of bristles that go just over the hook to keep it from grabbing on all the weeds and grass.

Long plastic worms

Another really big fish bait that is used by many bass fishing pros is a long plastic worm. A 10 or 12 inch snake like looking worm can be deadly on the right body of water. I tend to prefer dark browns or black colors when fishing with longer worms. Make sure that your worm is accompanied with a five or six size hook.

Perhaps one of the best bass fishing tips I ever received was to make sure that you get a good solid hooks set. Most people are worried about the water temperature, and everything else. Although those are all very important to catching big bass, if you don't set the hook good and solid you won't catch the fish anyways.Satria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-30334126169583906782009-06-10T03:26:00.000-07:002009-06-10T03:27:59.058-07:00Fly Fishing Tips - Dry Fly FishingAlthough its true that most trout feed below the surface most of the time, my favorite kind of fly fishing is dry fly fishing. This is where you present an imitation of an adult insect that has reached maturity and is floating on the surface film of the water. The excitement I receive from seeing a large trout come from below and take the fly is how I got hooked onto fly fishing in the first place. Most fly fishermen will have success catching trout, but at the expense of watching a strike indicator all day. If you're like me, the sight of a rising trout will make your heart skip a beat. Know in advance that if you only fish dry flies, you will probably catch less fish than your friends that are nymph fishing. However, these 5 tips will greatly increase your productivity and help you catch more trout on dry flies.

1) Read the water: Often, beginners are guilty of walking right up to the water and casting. To be effective as a fly fisherman you will need to take the time to learn how trout live and feed. Subsequently, you will then understand where likely trout lies are in the water. When you approach the water look for places where fish can hold without expending much energy and where they have protection from predators. Now, hopefully you are wearing the requisite polarized glasses so you can learn to identify a holding trout under the water. Focus on those spots where they should be and wait for any shadows to move. Those moving shadows are feeding trout. the biggest clue to where a trout is holding is when they are feeding on the surface. Look for small ripples that accompany the small splash of a surface feeding trout. Now keep watching and you will see that trout come to the surface.

2) Use as long a leader as you can: When trout feed on the surface, they are obviously looking up to see their meals coming to them. Because of this, if your fly line is too close to your leader the trout will see it and will not take the fly. Make sure to have on as long a leader as you are comfortable fishing to prevent unnecessary spooking of the trout. Sometimes there is too much foliage to have a long leader. I try to have at least 9 feet of leader and more if possible. Longer leader is harder to manipulate, so practice, practice, practice.

3) Match the hatch: Take notice of the bugs flying around you. Give the bushes next to the water a little shake a get a good look at what flies off. It is good to know the color of the naturals around you, but it is imperative that you have the right size. The right color fly that is too large will leave you empty handed where as the fly that is close in color and is the right size will still be very effective.

4) Cast upstream: Stealth is on your side if you take this approach. As I've already mentioned, if a trout sees your fly line, it wont take your fly. That goes the same for you. If you step into it's view you will have a very frustrating experience. Cast your dry fly upstream. Now, any trout that you may be trying to catch are facing away from you and should be in direct line with your fly that is now traveling downstream towards you and the fish on the current. As the fly makes its way back towards you strip in the loose line so that when trout takes the fly you can set the hook. Avoid casting directly upstream from where you are. This causes your fly to directly follow the fly line and will also make trout wary.

5) Limit false casting: Trout can be very shy and easily put down. The less false casting you do, the more opportunity you will have to catch trout. You should only be false casting to dry your fly. If you are false casting because you lack accuracy, then move closer and perform shorter casts. Move slowly to keep your stealth advantage. when you do false cast, try to change the direction of the cast so the line doesn't fly over the water you are fishing. Practice your casting. Eventually, you should be able to pick up your line and cast it with accuracy the first time.

Put these tips to use and I know your dry fly fishing will improve. Now, go practice and catch some fish.

By Paul SchackmanSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-58712943875998248652009-06-09T03:15:00.000-07:002009-06-09T03:17:41.856-07:00How to Start Surf FishingThese are the suggestions I have for someone who would like to start surf fishing. Lots of surf anglers have got their start surf fishing by going with their dad or a friend That's fine but it takes a lot longer to get all the knowledge you would like to acquire. Not only that but if your learning from your dad or a friend (depending on their knowledge or experience) you might not get a comprehensive coverage of the sport. I think there's a better way of going about it.

You could sign up for a surf fishing class that's another way to get started. At least it would be comprehensive. The local surf fishing club where I live in Florida has a class they offer for about $250. That might be a little expensive for some. If you can afford it, that's definitely a good way to go. If there's a surf fishing class near your location check that option out. The instructors will be experienced surf anglers and the classes are usually held right at the surf line.

There's still another way I'd like to suggest. Especially if you're on a tight budget. First I would start with familiarizing yourself with everything you can get your hands on. The Internet is a good place to start. There are a lot of articles on the Internet, like this one that are freely available. Take advantage of them. That's what they are there for. It will build your enthusiasm for the sport and give you a nice heads up for what you will experience.

Use the Web to learn about surf fishing techniques and the equipment used to fish the surf. Get an idea of the rod and reel combination that you would like to start with. Learn about the live bait, lures and artificials that surf anglers like to use. Find out what kind of surf fish are caught from the beach. A lot of the information is free but some of it you may have to purchase.

Visit the local bookstore and browse through the books about surf fishing. Visit Amazon and check out what they have to offer. Give yourself an introduction to the sport. It won't be long before you've learned a lot and find out what an awesome sport this is.

With a little bit of effort you would be surprised what you can learn. After getting an exposure like this your ready to select some surf gear and try it out for yourself. Now you could go right to the beach and start fishing. I'm sure you'll start getting some good results but if you can find a friend that will take you out that's what you should try for. Your friend will be able to help you with some of the things that are difficult to get from a book. Don't try to show your friend up with some of your new knowledge and don't be surprised if you know more about it than they do. Keep that your little secret. Once you get some actual experience under your belt it won't be long before you are teaching them.

When you land your first fish it will build your confidence up and soon you'll be surf fishing like a pro. Today, we don't have the time to spend days or months trying to get a handle on what works. Everybody wants it now and they want results right away. Believe me, that first fish you land will have you hooked more than you hooked it. Pun intended.

By Randy MeyersSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-47309230845336367692009-06-03T13:34:00.000-07:002009-06-03T13:42:49.281-07:00Fishing Tips For Largemouth BassThe following article is for anyone who wants to learn more about Bass Fishing. If you need to know more about Largemouth Bass or if you just need some more fishing tips in general, then read on to find some more help.

Largemouth Bass love to eat insects and other various types of critters. They are huge eaters and are constantly eating all the time. This means that you can be sure that they will most likely bite anything that you put on your line.

You could probably increase your chances though if you try using Worms, Crank baits, or Jigs. All three of these lures work really well when it comes to catching Bass.

You can also try using live bait as well as artificial bait. Many fishermen report that using live bait works very well when it comes to fishing for Bass. Many other people will also tell you that artificial work just as good if not better. This means that ether or could work for you really.

My advice for you would be too try both type of tackle before you come up with any kind of solutions. This way you can be sure to find out which one will work for you.

Remember that Bass love deep cooler water, so if you happen to be fishing sometime in the summer, then try heading for the deeper waters instead of the shallow end. You will have a greater chance of catching some big lunkers in deep water.

This article is only meant to be a little snippet of information on fishing for Largemouth Bass.

By Rob GanionSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7505901517834184667.post-69788004928018517672009-06-02T13:50:00.001-07:002009-06-02T13:51:36.400-07:00Saltwater Spinning Fishing Reel Vs Freshwater Spin Casting Fishing ReelsSpinning reels, whether freshwater or saltwater spinning reels, share one thing in common that differs from conventional fishing reels. When casting a spinning fishing reel, the fishing line is cast off the reel spool in a circular unraveling, around a stationary spool. Casting reels on the other hand unravel with a straighter motion, with the spool of the reel in freespool, where the spool of the reel spins as the line comes off. This free-spinning motion of the conventional casting reel spool often leads to messy line tangles if the spool is not controlled with the appropriate thumb pressure. The tangle free casting is what probably makes spinning fishing reels the most popular type of fishing reel.

Spincasting reels differ from normal spinning reels in that the spool of the fishing reel is usually encased. This type of reel is normally cast with a push of a button, which disengages the line. To engage the line, all the angler does is turn the handle a little to re-engage the spool. The limited line capacity, size and overall utility of this type of fishing reel should be restricted to freshwater fishing applications as well as teaching novices the fine art of casting and fishing. Another important note is that a spin casting reel should sit atop the fishing rod and the handle of the reel on the right side of the reel for right-handed anglers.

Spinning reels, on the other hand, can handle freshwater lunker bass fishing, big-game saltwater jigging, as well as freshwater and saltwater tournament style fishing. Spinning reels should hang below the spinning rod, with the handle of the reel on the left side of the reel for right-handed fishermen. Spinning fishing reels have an open spool, with the fishing line thread through a bail, which is designed to hold the line. To cast, the angler must open the bail, grab the fishing line with a finger, cast, and then either manually close the bail or turn the handle a half revolution to automatically close the bail. Please, when casting a spinning reel, DO NOT FORGET to open the bail. I have seen many expensive lures go flying into the deep sea with the familiar pop or snap of the fishing line because the angler forgot this critical step in casting these reels.

By Henry YooSatria Sudekihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15258731400965050123noreply@blogger.com0
